More than a Growing Company

Co-Founders say Botanicare is growing as a people and leadership development company built on customer focus.

Treg Bradley, Executive President, Chairman of the Board and Founder

Treg Bradley has always been working on innovative ways to incorporate gardening into everyday life. With the vision that one day all homes would be equipped with indoor gardening space. He is an Arizona native who grew up in the Gilbert area. A long-time Hydrogardening enthusiast, Treg opened Sea of Green, a specialty gardening store in 1992. He created "Pure Blend" in the back room of that store, which became a wildly successful plant nutrient. The success of Pure Blend line inspired him to focus on developing new products. After a few years he divested the Sea of Green stores and incorporated American Agritech in Tempe, Arizona and launched its primary product line, Botanicare - for which the company has become better known.

As an entrepreneur and inventor, Treg collaborated with industrial designer Karim Rashid to introduce Grobal, a self-watering planter that became Botanicare's first mainstream consumer product in 2007. In 2011 the Grobal is a featured product in the Museum of Modern Art's (MoMA) spring catalog.
